This attached townhome, with a typical cookie-cutter floor plan, was transformed into an open, free-flowing space with more storage and utility.
We opened up what was a closed-off, small kitchen, and connected it to the dining room. In doing so, we removed the central chimney, which had impaired the space, and added a large, light-filled pantry. Updating the ½ bath on the first floor with a shower meant more usability for guests. And converting two awkward bedrooms on the third floor into three usable bedrooms only added more space and value to the property.
